After activating the phone, I made a few test calls/texts then turned the phone off and put it back in the box. I haven't turned it on for over 2 months (this one is on a 120-day term) and the countdown continues each day. You MIGHT have a problem if the new owner activates the phone with Fi before your required service days are completed. An active Fi phone has its SIM paired with its IMEI.

Do you recommend waiting until the 30 days service is done before selling the phone? Also with this deal we need to open box and activate phone at least before selling correct? So it would be considered new open box at that time if we want to sell it?

So you can use the phone with any other SIM, but just don't use the Fi sim with any other phone except the S22 until the countdown is zero..is that correct?

You need to wait until the promo period IF the purchaser is going to activate it on Fi.

If you know they're going to use it with another carrier, you'll be fine.

Isn't it better to buy a phone that is higher priced than your trade in phone value so that all the trade in credit goes back to your credit card and not have any account credit if you will be canceling after 30 days?

Depends... From a purely financial aspect, sure. I went with the S22 because I like the smaller phone. I did 'upgrade' to 256gb.

Yes. I didnt the s22+ wasnt as cheap for existing customers when I bought but yeah, max out the TIV, I didnt realize they would not credit up to the total with tax

Also, likely you will have to pay some of the 2nd month
