It might not get registered in Fi Savings as activated because like me your purchased the phone right away without giving the system enough time to register you as a customer

Don't worry yet. Give it a few days like hpham_53 said. I would probably wait until Monday or Tuesday and if it doesnt update contact support. To save time and not have to contact chat multiple times, when the rep tells you its fine and to give it time, ask to escalate to a supervisor or specialist team - they will then follow up by email

Important - dont activate the Fi sim in another phone and dont activate a different Fi sim in the new phone
Any issue with putting another sim in the phone after the fi sim?

Just to make sure I understand. I can buy the phone with the promo price, activate it with the Google Fi sim, then immediately deal the device to another carrier sim without screwing up the promo pricing (obviously the activated Google Fi sim can't be used in a different device).

I don't know what you mean by "deal the device to another carrier's SIM". You can remove the Fi SIM and use another carrier's SIM in its place without messing up your promotion.

My 30 day counter is over

Can I order another phone on same line? And stay active another 30 days and then cancel the FI

Or I have to get another sim 😂 wait 48 hours and then order phone and 30 days?

Your line that just ended makes you an existing Fi member. Don't cancel it. Place an order for another 30-day S22 and activate it with its own SIM. Service will be transferred from your current line, so you don't have to port in.

Remember when you activated your current S22 and service was transferred from the BYOD SIM to it and the billing carried over too. Same here. Your current bill will transfer over to the new S22, You'll have to pay 30 days of service for the new S22, but some of it will overlap with the current bill.

If the intent is to score 2 or more S22:
Upon reading comments, one thing which am having difficulty understanding: why are folks waiting for 30days to order another S22, instead they can just order 2 S22 on two lines from a same account. Am I missing something here?
