You need to wait until your pixel terms are done or almost done to order the 30-day S22. Else, when you activate the S22 your Fi service on the pixel is transferred to the S22 and your pixel promotions aren't fulfilled.

I don't use multiple-line accounts, but it was posted in this thread that each new line is treated as a new member, and as such requires 120 days. You can use a BYOD Fi SIM from Amazon, Best Buy, etc to start a new account (using a referral from your Pixel account will get $20 Fi credit in both accounts after 30 days of service), wait at least 48 hrs, then order the 30-day S22 as an existing Fi member. When you activate the S22, service and billing will be transferred from the BYOD SIM to the S22. The BYOD SIM costs $10 but you'll get $10 FI credit, so it only costs the sales tax.

Still waiting on my s22 to ship. I signed up for a s21 trade in, but instead of a return package, recurved a sim card in the mail

Same with me. BTW, they just changed my ship date from 1/27 to 2/3, to now 2/3 to 2/7.

Lol. I figure I'll wait for the s22 to show up before I ask about the return package.

For those using the pause feature... be aware that if you're paused on your billing date and there is a bill due, they will charge your credit card. Also, if you pause for more than 7 days, you can't use credit sharing across other members of your group... and they'll charge your credit card.

Found this out the hard way!

I ordered a white 128GB S22 on 1/17, was given a delivery date range of 1/25 to 2/9. I'll see if it will be shipped soon. My next billing period starts on 2/10 and I have $28+ in Fi credit to cover it.

Confused by this.

My stmt date was Jan 10 and I paused on Jan 15. I only have one email/line associated with account. Does this apply to me?

Just rechecked the google fi website and it says you'll recieve the trade-in kit after you recieve the new phone. Makes sense, as I'm sure they don't want to deal with sorting out credits on someone trading in a phone and then cancelling the new phone.

You need to add around $7-$8 each month for taxes and fees.

The Fi deal is only worth doing if you trade in a phone, like a broken S21 that you can buy on Ebay or a refurb iPhone11 and get $300+ in trade-in credit.
