Just rechecked the google fi website and it says you'll recieve the trade-in kit after you recieve the new phone.
That's correct. The trade-in box isn't mailed to you until your Fi phone has shipped.

I ordered a white 128GB S22 on 1/17, was given a delivery date range of 1/25 to 2/9. I'll see if it will be shipped soon. My next billing period starts on 2/10 and I have $28+ in Fi credit to cover it.
Just checked again today and my delivery date changed from what yours is too 26-27 Jan, though it hasn't shipped yet. Guess we'll see.

Confused by this.

My stmt date was Jan 10 and I paused on Jan 15. I only have one email/line associated with account. Does this apply to me?
It shouldn't... here is what it says online:

Share your credit
If you're in a group plan, you can share trade-in and promotion credits with your other group members. To turn credit sharing on or off:

In your web browser, open https://fi.google.com/account.
Click Billing.
Under "Payment Settings," click Credit sharing.
If your service is paused on the billing date or for more than 7 days in a billing cycle, you won't be eligible to share credits for that billing period.

Do you know if you pause service for 90 days, can you pause it again right after?
Yes, you can. They e-mail you when you pause, and when it automatically resumes. However, I would put a calendar reminder on. I didn't receive the e-mails one month and got charged. Now, I set a reminder for every 85 days. I log in, activate and pause service again (right away).

Here's a silly question. How's the service? I am a cheapo with a family of 4 on Cricket plan for $100/month (incl tax) and want to move to $80/month +tax Simple unlimited plan.

One kid needs iphone for work (can't seem to find anything that's a better deal than unlocked 13 mini on Apples website for $629. I need new phone, and S22 for $300 looks good. Are people happy with the service on Google Fi?

I know about Xfinity plan but 24 month commitment to their service to actually get the mini 12 free plus higher monthly cost makes me say No thank you.

Can I import a google voice number? I saw that some are using a skype number, but have to pay a monthly fee to get that number first.

Yes. If the GV number belongs to the same account that orders the phone, there's no charge. Else, you have to pay $3 to port.

my trade in is stuck in "moving through network" since Jan 14th. Is this normal? Its close to 2 weeks since it should have been delivered.

I have two trade-in shipments that were processed/paid in May and Sept last year, but to this day USPS still shows them as "moving through network". Contact Fi Support and ask them to check on your shipment.

Ok will do. Thanks.

How long do they usually take to respond? I contacted support the other day for something else, the rep was pretty useless. Did not understand my question at all and giving me generic response

I used live Chat when I needed to contact Fi Support previously about a returned phone. The reps were helpful, although it took several contacts and 28 days to get my refund.

My trade in was sent Jan 14 and received in Nashville on Jan 19. I waited 72 hours to receive the trade in credit. Initiated online chat with CS to document that I haven't received the trade in credit. CS said she "checked with warehouse" and they received my old phone & credit will be processed in next few days.

I received the credit within 5 minutes of ending the chat.

I see. My trade in left NJ on 10th and was supposed to arrive in TN on 14th. But I have no clue if it even reached TN since the USPS status has no updates after it left NJ

I would file a missing mail request with usps and also start a case with Fi support so that is documented.
