I have a XS max with broken screen on front and back. All works (in a case) except for front camera. They are offering $250ish for this model that turns on but with broken screen. I don't want to lose the phone or pay the price without credit if they reject it. I see that you can click on return device if rejected, but what about returning the Pixel 6a for a full refund, if this is rejected?

The IMEI number is also written on the phone sim tray.

I had this idea too. Get a destroyed locked iphone 2nd hand and pass it off, but they do check the IMEI off there.

I then thought about, leaving the sim tray out and saying it broke but ended up getting an iphone 11 locally and trading that in for pixel 7, it was still worth it.

I think their software requires them to enter the IMEI on their screen to print the trade in voucher they give you for promotional credit.

I did iphone 11, was in and out with $16 gift card given to me. Also a bunch of it wasn't taxed for some reason, like the voucher lowers the pre taxable cost before that's applied fyi

I have a Galaxy A71 5G for a year purchased thru Samsung store that T-Mo cannot unlock (not in their system). It trades for $250 with a 6A purchase, total $74 after tax. Is it worth it? Thanks.
