    • phone must be in good condition to qualify for full $246 trade in credit
  5. Click "Add trade-in"
  6. Select coverage (additional fees will apply) or skip
  7. Add to cart
  8. Your total will be $449 - $150 instant savings - $246 trade in value = $53 + free shipping.
    • You'll receive a kit to safely mail your old phone. After your old phone is inspected you'll get an email confirming its value and receive the credit in 2-5 days. There's an option that you can select, to have your trade-in phone returned, if they decide that the value is less than what is shown and you don't want to accept that lesser value.

However, I've read hundreds, if not, thousands, of comments about Google Store lately, and I have read a few stories about people selecting that option, but, not having their phone returned. Apparently, if a phone has an expanded battery, or something that's similar to that, they specifically will not return it.

So, there is some risk involved; but, overall, by far, the vast majority of people seem to have an overall positive experience and don't encounter any issues with their phone trade-in.

Also, you can always try to contact Google Store Support, via chat or a phone call, and specifically ask them about exactly what it is that you want to know.

If you happen to have a Pixel 4 that you're looking to trade in, if you're interested in buying a Pixel 7, they're giving $400 trade-in credit towards a Pixel 7.

I will keep my Pixel 4a 5G. Pixel 6a offers minor upgrades in HW & SW, but loses free unlimited Google Photos backup.

Pixel 1 includes free lifetime unlimited Google Photos backup at original full resolutions.
Pixel 2 to 5 include unlimited backup, but downscale photos to 16MP and video to 1080p.
Pixel 5a and newer include 15GB backup. Then pay Google $ for more GB every month.

If I have a bunch of older phones, Iphone 7, pixel 3a, iphone SE 2022 will I be able to trade them all in for Pixel 6a's and sell those?

Yes. Keep in mind though that with all the deals on Pixels there is plenty already available in market and you may not get great prices on reselling.

Wondering if Google will accept iPhone 8 will perfect screen but a small crack in the back glass? Condition only ask if screen has crack or does not function. Nothing about back? Is it too much risk?
