Does anyone know if there is a fugly looking ddr4 that is similar and a good deal? I have seen a red one that is around $84.99, but anyone think it will go lower?

This isn't much of a premium for RGB. In fact it's pretty much in line with other non-RGB CL16 ram. My only complaint and why I'm holding out is the ram timing is slightly slower at 16-20-20 which affects FWL.

I'm a very fringe case though since I do heavy video editing, so for your typical gamer you won't notice.

18-22-22-42 timings CAS latency 18 from spec page. Bought same kit at best buy 2 days ago for 15 more. I don't do the rainbow or neon colors. put everything to a static purplish blue and call it a day.

I also do blue light but that's because I read it's a food suppressant color and I can just skip eating
