Those mechanical "clicky" switches are the reason this is a good deal. If you want a normal keyboard, you can get one for $10 on Amazon any day of the week.

No, I use linear mechanical red switches, still mechanical but don't have the tactile bump

Which keyboard did you guys get? Did you guys get the image shown on target website or the image shown on Logitech website?

The reason I ask is because I got the one that looks like the one from Logitech website and for the life of me I can't figure out how to light up the second row of characters (when you press shift key - e.g. #, $, etc). Only the numbers have the led light and it's driving me nuts. Smilie
