Friendly heads up!!! Starlight Blue, Nova Pink and Galactic Purple at their launch were a version 2 of the DualSense controller which is the newest version. Since then the white, midnight black and cosmic red controller have also been updated. To find out if you have version 1 or 2 look on the back of the controller for the FCC ID. If the last digit is a 1 its version 1, if the last digit is an A its version 2. They put stronger springs on the triggers and redesigned plastic around the thumb sticks.

I've only heard of not being able to return opened games. Controllers should be ok. I never heard of any store refusing to take opened controllers.. that's weird
