Update: I was doing the check out with ZIP and ZIP did not approve the item(video card). This could be me buying it for a friend or using a email relay?

I didn't even have to enter my ssn.
They theorize over at Reddit that people with perfect credit may not get approved, as zip caters to those with average credit, implying they may be more likely the miss a payment and incur fees. Whether that's true or not, I'm uncertain, but it was mentioned. Good luck..
