Better latency/connectivity, some people have bad experience with Bluetooth so this helps & also you can connect headset to your controller with this adapter ( Bluetooth works fine for me )

I'm constantly having BT connection issues with my XBox controller. This could be a good solution for that problem.

The controller is the same. It can connect with Bluetooth without a dedicated adapter. If you use the adapter, then the controller connects using a proprietary protocol that has reduced latency and seemingly a more stable connection.
