Hi, I have an x570 board and upgraded from a 3600x to a 5800x3d. Noticeable performance boost across the board. Plug and play with bios update, no issues.

This chip runs a little warmer so I changed the stock cpu cooler which seemed ready for lift off even on the 3600x!

I don't need it but I want it. If it was $200-250 id buy it even if i don't need it. You'd think if you can buy a new one for this price a used one would be 200-250, nope ppl want $350-400 for it used lol

Kind of a hard sale if building brand new. AM5 getting price cuts: 7600X is at $250 and 7700X $350. They even have cpu/D5 and mobo/D5 bundles. $420 7700X and 32GB D5 is a good deal. Hold out until CES and boards and D5 should come down a bit.

Of course you can build a new 5800X3D system. AM4 parts are cheap: $110 msi b550 pro vcm WiFi, $70 32GB 3200/16 ram.
