There is nothing inherently wrong with a plastic tub. Plus, it is 300 installed with a 4 year warranty. This is same type of person that complains on laptop threads about cheap devices not having ssd or a better gpu.

I ordered the Costco KitchenAid for $600 after the gift card but the delivery will be on November 30th. Should I cancel and order this one for $300 less? Please suggest

Pumps are easy to replace if you need to. Actually pretty much everything except the control panel are simple repairs on a dishwasher, just a matter of whether the part cost is worth it (circulation pumps run about $80 new). Still running a 14 year old GE Profile. Pump is a little noisy so debating finally replacing with a new model.
I've had pumps go too, 1 hour tops repair time

Is it the KitchenAid model with the stainless steel tub, third rack, and 44 dB sound rating? If so, those are some nice upgrades over the Kenmore. It's a tough call, but I'd personally probably stick with the KitchenAid.

3rd rack
Stainless steel interior
Quieter
adjustable height middle rack
clean water wash system
glide racks
arguably better looking

I'd stick with the KA if you can afford it. Mines been a great improvement and I really appreciate the quieter noise levels compared to my older unit.

Does anybody have this dishwasher? Is the depth 27''? The sears website for this says the cutout dimension is 24'' depth & most dishwashers are usually 24''

I agree, the Costco warranty and it being 300 is pretty good. That's why I said it makes sense. That means I'm somewhat in favor of the deal. Do you understand that aspect?

This is a lukewarm deal. A plastic tub doesn't hold the heat as well as stainless, in turn, it won't clean as well. It's not as hygienic. It's a drawback. It isn't the end of the world but saying it doesn't matter is incorrect.
Perfect for a rental, not a forever kitchen.

True. If you student or young couple and rent apt - it dirty cheap and OK for few years (4 yrs for bachelor degree, LOL).
If you are family with kids - you need something with 3rd rack, metal tube and, may be grinder but it rare nowadays.
And yes, avoid GE, Samsung, LG, Frigidaire and cheapest Bosch (100/Ascenta).
