This is a lukewarm deal. A plastic tub doesn't hold the heat as well as stainless, in turn, it won't clean as well. It's not as hygienic. It's a drawback. It isn't the end of the world but saying it doesn't matter is incorrect.

If you are family with kids - you need something with 3rd rack, metal tube and, may be grinder but it rare nowadays.
And yes, avoid GE, Samsung, LG, Frigidaire and cheapest Bosch (100/Ascenta).
