There is nothing inherently wrong with a plastic tub. Plus, it is 300 installed with a 4 year warranty. This is same type of person that complains on laptop threads about cheap devices not having ssd or a better gpu.

Just purchased a dishwasher from Samsung.com. They want to charge me $205 for install and hall away... I plan to install the dishwasher myself and I will haul away my old one myself.

Paid $635 (regular $999) but I do have 3 shelves, door opens automatically after wash and it is true stainless steal. It is for a rental and while and I feel I will get more value from this deal... having a stainless steel inside is a must.

PLUS... plastic tub and a regular price of $849 to me is BULLSHIT fake marketing. AND it is sold out.

I think the handle is the reason it's 27". I looked at other units with/without handles and all the depths vary. the ones with handles are all deeper.

This is a lukewarm deal. A plastic tub doesn't hold the heat as well as stainless, in turn, it won't clean as well. It's not as hygienic. It's a drawback. It isn't the end of the world but saying it doesn't matter is incorrect.
By the way your comment helped prevent me from picking this up. Ours is 10 years old and beginning to fall apart physically. Not sure it's worth trying to fix especially bc the door hinge also is feeling flimsy.

I wouldn't want a washer that doesn't clean as well as our current stainless.

Isn't it a 2nd Year Warranty? Costco stopped extending warranties from what I know.

This is false. Citi is ending the extended warranty early 2023. If you buy this with the Citi card now, you will get a 4 year warranty.
