Not the Elite LCD, but the Capellix. Still a great deal, but not the same cooler.

I have a be quiet 500 fx case, their brand new one that I will be building in. It comes with 4 light wing fans. Is there any way, either through icue or the mobo headers to control the case fans, and the fans/block on this corsair AIO with one or the other? Either the icue software or gigabyte fusion?

This is a great deal but i dont know if i can deal with the rgb controls in multiple places again.

So is this work with asus z690 tuf ?
Yes, works great on mine w/ the i7-12700k. Running at prolonged 99% utilization drawing over 160W don't see temps above 65 in a 5000D airflow with 3 ml120 intakes in front and one of the stock case fans as exhaust in the back with the rad top mounted. And those temps are with a 3090ti OC running at 99% utilization as well. HWInfo shows max GPU/Mem/Hot Spot temps of 69/76/79 Applause

Be aware any Intel 1700 platforms will require an extra bracket. Good price.
I haven't decided on intel or AMD for my current build - you think I should preemptively order the LGA1700 bracket? Can it be ordered later with free shipping?

I'm very new to RGB, but the cooler module has six rgb and pwm outputs. I would presume iCue can handle the non-iCue fans. I just left my rear exhaust fan as non-rgb.

ETA: Actually, no it appears it won't be straight forward if possible at all to control RGB on non-iCue fans from iCue.

ETA2: This guy seems to know what's up [youtube.com]. Would def agree, what a cluster...

When I purchased mine new two days ago it came with the bracket, so I would hope they do the same for these units.

I have an Asus z690-P and it works with it, yes.

This is a great cooler and the price is awesome. Last time this was posted, someone brought up concerns about it being refurbished and possibly leaking. Corsair wouldn't be selling something if it was going to leak everywhere. I would buy this refurbished if I needed one, I wish I knew there was a refurb option before I paid $150 for mine.

If you're thinking about mounting this horizontally along the top of your case, measure and make sure it'll fit. I have a 4000D case and PC Part Picker said it would fit, but the case wasn't long enough to fit on the top. I have it mounted vertically behind the front fans and it works fine. Just something to keep in mind.
Corsair's specs for the 4000D clearly state up to 280mm top mounted...which is why I got the 5000D (airflow).

A spacious interior fits up to 6x 120mm or 4x 140mm cooling fans, along with multiple radiators including a 360mm in front and 280mm in the roof.

I'm inclined to agree that refurb is no issue here. For one, Corsair has probably the best name in the PC building business since like forever. They aren't going to put trash out there and kill the goose that lays the golden egg. Secondly, this comes directly from Corsair, meaning they are not entrusting a questionable third party to ensure that only top condition goods get to the customer (looking at Amazon as much as Newegg here).

Finally, this is a metal radiator, pump/reservoir combo, special cooling liquid, and some tubes. The only thing there which would give me pause to run as a refurb would be pump/block. Any leaking issues with the tubes and such you can expect to have been resolved. Honestly, with items like pumps, I sometimes wonder if refurb is better than factor manufactured. A refurb might have gotten personalized attention from humans, which could lead to an even better product than the luck of the draw off the factory line. That's assuming the pump itself is even serviceable, beyond just replacement. I simply suspect that Corsair isn't selling junk pumps as refurbs. Even if they are, if you pay 50% of the price and this thing lasts 75% as long, you made out like a bandit (as long as it doesn't leak and break your other stuff, which I think is a low risk here).

Personally, I literally just installed an EK basic AIO which was $130. If it was still sealed, I would return it and buy this. I am suspect of Thermaltake's AIOs for some reason. And, anything else at this price point is likely not as nice as a Corsair refurb.

Bought one of these for this price refurbished earlier this year. First one I got had a defective lighting node. Returned it for a replacement and the replacement has been working great since. I did buy the $5 1700 bracket from Corsair as well.

Did you install the CPU with a contact frame or the original MB retention bracket?

It's just 8 more bucks. Might be worth it. I'm in the same boat.

Had to buy the bracket separately when I bought this deal last time. Still a great price and mine has been trouble free for months.

Isn't the only difference between this and the LCD version, the screen?
That and an extra ~$100 when comparing list price. $50 to $60 for new on sale BF prices.

Due to the SD effect, I used a contact frame.
