I was worried as well with the reviews but for the price it's worth the try. I ordered 2 and used them both daily to charge laptops and tablets and never had any issues.

Got two. Work ok but not great. One of my phones pulls 3-4amp then stops, like the brick resets, then starts again. Good for this price, but expect some wonkyness. Won't charge my MBP but will charge my Lenovo X1 Carbon

does it happen when you plug in another device? b/c that is normal behavior.

Price is good, but reviews are pretty bad including recent one, not sure whether I want to buy it.

I have 2 of these and they work great. Does it get warm? Yes, but so do most of the chargers I own. Reviews held me back as well but I'm glad I went with this.

for what it's worth don't get it. I had two of them and both of them had issued with a normal USB port that came loose, I was over sea and I end up gave it to the local there since they only want it for USB-C

Nope, at random intervals. For others, PD compliant devices need to sense the voltage needed, by talking to the devices plugged in. If a new device is plugged in, the power brick will re-communicate to verify it's sending the right voltage. Safety mechanism.

Probably older version is better and didn't have problems

I need to double check if it was this model or similar, but I think I picked up a Monoprice charger some months ago... And when I use both ports, well, it frankly just doesn't work. I think one port consistently works, but the second will not. Have tried using different cables to see if 2nd port cable is the issue, but it is not the case. Assuming it is defective. I'll have to edit this post later when I can check, but I just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced something similar

In my experience, it is almost impossible to charge an apple watch. The charging logo on the watch is constantly flickering and not getting charged.

FWIW I have this and it's worked great for me, never had any issues, though I've never tried to pull 100W. Most I've had plugged in is my MacBook Air pulling 30W and my phone pulling I think max 20W.
