I have one of these. Pokey, yes, but far from unusable. It's running on a real SSD and the processor isn't a dog. Great screen. I consider it a good value at the sale price.

I have this device and it is very usable after setting all the normal 'windows experience' options (like tracking, cortana, shadows behind windows etc) to OFF. It has a brilliant 400-nit color accurate display and can do a vertical mount when attached to the keyboard. It is great for typing docs in a standard paper-sized vertical orientation.

You can get an HP 1.51 pen (recently on slickdeals for $13). The HP site has the 8GB version exclusively on their site for $299 right now (without keyboard).

I highly recommend the 'keyboard/type cover' included option for $299 from Best Buy rather than the Tablet by itself. There are no third-party covers or attachable keyboards available. You can use a separate bluetooth keyboard if you wish, but the cover is definitely a nice-to-have.

Worst task it has is running Windows Update to get the latest drivers. Once you're past that obstacle, it's got good response for most web browsing and casual use. Good value for the price.

I bought this at $200 as well. It's used nightly for my web-browsing rounds/habits and works great for that. I also have an Xbox controller linked to it whenever I want to do N64 or older emulation on the go.

Also works great for a portable Steam streaming machine with my controller because the screen is so good and the wireless chip in it seems decent.

I think so. I ordered one from there and its on the way. I also picked up another one-open box with a keyboard , $170, from best buy. It was "satisfactory condition" but has a missing charger. Not a big deal. The condition was like a new. Two month left on mfr warranty but I called HP and asked for a full 1 year warranty. I havd Win activation issue but a remote tech support quickly resolved. Excellent device for the price. Make sure you get the one with a keyboard. The keyboard alone is $150.

Just got the tablet from MS store. It includes the keyboard. Despite 4 gb ram, it is fast, and no lag.

The screen is very good. No regret whatsoever. In terms of performance, I ran Asphalt 8 which is a bit laggy. Asphalt 9 is pretty good. Angry bird is very good. Typical office use is fast.
