While this is a great deal if you qualify for the AMEX statement card and you aren't looking to play (AAA) games in any kind of setting higher than Medium.

Also, I would def recommend upgrading to the panel with 300nits if you have no choice but to use the laptop screen. The one currently speced is not good. And if you have the budget, and plan to play any (AAA) game released in the last few years, you should be on the dual channel, so two sticks of ram should be used.

There are many "Known" issues with this laptop, one major one being the blue screen issue. When Lost Ark was officially released to US Players earlier this year two of my friends purchased this laptop to play it. They had numerous issues with both experiencing blue screens daily and having to exchange them multiple times, after lengthy Dell tech troubleshooting steps because there were no parts for their tech company that dell sourced to fix issues. There was also a weird thing with switching out the display graphics, where every time they wanted to make a change they had to boot into the Bios to make it.

There is an amazing YouTuber 'Jarrod'sTech' whose reviews are precise, and informative, and most of the videos I viewed are none biased, maybe that is why he has over 500K subscribers, with me being one of them, and they reviewed this machine.

I hope this helps others.

Happy Turkey Day!

I have a 3050 laptop and it's fine playing most games at mid-high settings.

A laptop with 3060 costs considerably more than this.

It's not crap. It's simply low end. Crap is the 5500.

You can upgrade the laptop yourself to your heart's desire and save more than buying one with higher RAM and storage.

2TB Solodigm QLC NVMe is only $110: https://slickdeals.net/f/16184341-2tb-solidigm-p41-plus-pcie-gen-4-nvme-m-2-qlc-internal-solid-state-drive-110-free-shipping

If you prefer TLC, 2TB Hynix is on sale for $150: https://slickdeals.net/f/16213009-2tb-sk-hynix-gold-p31-nvme-gen3-m-2-solid-state-state-drive-ssd-150-free-shipping

32GB DDR5 RAM is on sale for $100: https://slickdeals.net/f/16225084-crucial-32gb-kit-2-x-16gb-ddr5-4800-sodimm-laptop-memory-99-99

In total, upgrades are a little over $200 and you will have a maxed out and future-proof machine for years to come.

Looks like it has a battery issue . It won't last for good period of time. Also over heating issues. Check the reviews before you buy.
As an owner of a previous model, I can confirm that. Laptop dips in battery by 10% every 15 minutes. I think it is because it has a 3-cell and low watt-hour battery. The battery is thin too.

I use mine as a desktop replacement and never take it on the go so I don't mind that.

Being too picky? At this price, this is great for entry-level gamers. It is much better than regular laptops being sold at or above this price with no GPU. At least it can handle gaming.

Of course you are not going to expect to be able to play the latest AAA games at the highest settings with this.

Only the HP gaming laptop with the RTX 1650 was being sold at this price at 2020 during Black Friday, which became out of stock quick.

2021 was the worst year to buy gaming computers because they were being sold way over their MSRP.

It worked for me last time. You will have to add some fillers to get it back up to 600.

this one asks for company email and registration code. Is this for regular Capital One card holders?
