I bought two of these in the past from Kohls and they shed like crazy. Had to throw them out.

edit: I actually stand corrected. I bought the 120"x120" The Big One Family Blanket "supersoft plush" polyester material. I loved the size and feel of the blanket, but it shed a ton even after a dozen washes. I've never used these specific blankets in the deal, and I'm not sure if they have similar issues. However, I did buy The Big One oversized bath towels and they had the same exact problem. I'm personally saying away from the brand.

As a side note, I've had dogs my entire life. Rescued the last 4 from local shelters. Volunteer at shelters and never heard anyone use that acronym. "Pitties" is more commonly used where I am.

That being said, we've bought these over the years and most have been relegated to dog bedding. They eventually get holes in them but the dogs don't mind.

So, mildly on/off topic but if you want a BIG blanket, and price isn't a major concern, amazon has 10x10 blankets for like $170.

Yes I am aware this is WAY different than this price thread but if someone see's big blanket...maybe itll help.
