It's made by Henkel based on the bottle shape (they also make Persil, Snuggle, Purex just to name a few of the brands)

Not totally sure since I never used Wisk. After using Persil we don't use Tide anymore. Used tide for 20 years before that but they reformulated tide for "turbo clean" and diluted it.

The scent in Persil may be a downside for people but I like it. We solely use Persil or Kirkland Signature (rebranded Persil) based on what's on sale.
