But it doesn't need to be because the type of snow this is typically used for isn't the type you need a self propelled snowblower.
This is similar to a single-stage snowblower or snow broom. You can only really use this for light flaky snow.
I bought this snow blower first thing this morning. It won't replace my 2 stage completely, but my wife clears the snow frequently and she wanted something easier to work with.

Great deal for a snowblower with 2 80 V batteries and the charger
This is the green works blower with the metal blade versus the cheaper one that has the plastic blade. I've had both. The metal blade makes all the difference
