I am not sure why anyone would buy an top end TV and not go for dolby vision, these TVs are for movies pure and simple. Folks buying them for other things...the micro led is the way to go. You simply only need the dark levels for movies.
Thats a bad panel, that isnt burn in. Contact LG, even out of warranty they replace stuff like that. Burn in is a result of stagnate image fyi.... Huge difference.
I have 2 OLEDs from 2016, one has > 12k hours on it. 0 burn in.

Edit: nope, I was wrong - both have 4 hispeed HDMIs.
No matter the warranty provider, check reddit...anytime a panel replacement is involved...all these magical fees appear and most folks end up getting quoted over $1000
These warranties are hands down a scam.
