I think the consensus is: C2 is slightly brighter, and weights almost 50% less. Besides that not much. IMO the weight is a big thing so I think I'll get a C2.

I'd like to know about this as well. I have the same TCL tv currently and am itching to buy an OLED. I went cheap then and regretted not spending a bit more for a min OLED.
I have a 2014 LG OLED and it has zero burn in and that is watching a lot of news and playing games on it. I bought the 77 inch LG C1 recently and only have 1 year plus 1 year CC warranty but not worried at all with burn-in. Unless you keep your TVs on all day with static images I wouldn't worry. There is even better tech in these TVs to prevent burn in then the on I got in 2014.

Wouldn't the Samsung S95B for $1399 be the way to go? Seems to be the highest rated TV on Rtings.
no dolby vision is enough of a reason to bail on any samsung unfortunately.

I am not sure why anyone would buy an top end TV and not go for dolby vision, these TVs are for movies pure and simple. Folks buying them for other things...the micro led is the way to go. You simply only need the dark levels for movies.

Burn in is definitely real, I have an lg c7 oled and it has darker towards the center where the box on back has all of the electronics. Oled has the common issue of burn in. Possibly not as much on newer sets but it can still happen.

Thats a bad panel, that isnt burn in. Contact LG, even out of warranty they replace stuff like that. Burn in is a result of stagnate image fyi.... Huge difference.

I have 2 OLEDs from 2016, one has > 12k hours on it. 0 burn in.

A very quick google search says we're both wrong. It's 4 on each. Have a great thanksgiving.

Weight 50% less? What did they throw away in this model? Steel base vs plastic base?

How do I get EPP pricing? Also there's been claims that Samsung is cheating reviewers again by targeting the settings that reviewers will normally test.

Who TD this post? The question was about the differences between C1 and C2. Both have 4 HDMI but on C2 all 4 are high speed 2.1 while on C1 only 2 are 2.1 spec and the other 2 are slower. This is an important consideration for some.

Edit: nope, I was wrong - both have 4 hispeed HDMIs.

Does anyone know if you can schedule delayed shipping with B&H? In case, someone offers a better price in the next few days

C2 50% less weight. I can't imagine the c1 being a porker and that it really matters once it's planted or hung.

Not sure why folks keep chasing these aftermarket warranties.

No matter the warranty provider, check reddit...anytime a panel replacement is involved...all these magical fees appear and most folks end up getting quoted over $1000

These warranties are hands down a scam.
I bought an LG 65" E8 3.5 years ago along with a Squaretrade warranty. TV got a horizontal thin black line through it a few weeks. Squaretrade offered a new low end LG A1 OLED as a replacement. The game is you try to point out how their offered replacement isn't equal to yours. I let them know the speakers in the E8 are inferior to their offering. They came back offering an LG C2. I wanted a cash refund so I still pointed out that the speakers were inferior in the C2. They came back offering a refund for the amount I paid for the TV. If they refused the cash refund I still would have been stoked with the C2. There are tons of posts on Reddit where Squaretrade offers replacements for broken TV's. Yes you're screwed if you have burn in issues but that's well known with Squaretrade. They aren't a scam at all.

I have many hours on mine and I can assure you it's burn in, it's far out of warranty so I'm looking to buy a new tv within the next year

Was wondering the same thing. I've decided to just order and attempt cancel if any retailer I can pickup decides to match
