If you are asking why this doesn't come with batteries and a charger you definitely don't need this lmao.

The $100 off Typhon is a way better deal and you won't need to spend $500 on a charger and two batteries.

Arrma granite is not on the same level as this.That being said all rcs break if you use them.

Can't help you on the battery unless you were using a very cheap Chinese one and it overheated, but the number one reason a motor and gears fail is if the user/owner didn't verify the gear mesh wasn't set too tight. These things aren't zero maintenance.

3s is fun and all but don't sleep on 2s batteries. They're cheaper, more runtime for similar size, and you wont break it.

3s and 4s is just for bashing things apart.

This is not a joke and anyone considering buying lipo batteries for this or any other rc needs to do their research into proper charging and storage. That having been said with a good charger especially there are plenty of cheap battery options on Amazon that are perfectly fine if you use them properly. Zeee and hoovo are solid and very cheap. I'd prefer having several cheaper batteries rather than one expensive name brand one.

I run my arrma senton BLX on 2s and it's still plenty fast and you can cause plenty of damage to the RC if you want to. For the average person, above 35mph is too fast unless you have a lot of room or only care about speed runs
