I am not able to replicate the same. Do you mean 774?
What can I get for around $600, or is this pretty much the best deal going for an unlocked phone?

Early on they had software issues with the new One UI.
They shrunk the battery sizes compared to the previous gen and removed SD card support and the headphone jack.
The new Qualcomm chip in it is new and is prone to overheating and consuming a lot of battery
You only get 6-7 hours of screen on time with an S22+.
This is the first Android flagship to make me consider switching to Apple.
I've owned a S22 ultra since launch and my biggest issue is the size is just too big and I'm completely over curved screens. Haven't seen battery life issues or software issues with one Ui.
The entire s22 lineup is flawed though and specifically the 22+ I wouldn't even consider. It's actually a lower resolution screen than the s10+ and then they shrunk the battery down from the previous year. This is what originally pushed me to get the s22 ultra but unless you're prepared for a brick in your pocket with a boxy design then don't attempt that either.
I actually tried an iPhone 13 Pro Max at the same time and sent it back because it was too big as well but without any of the features that help one hand operation use on it.
What Samsung really needs to do is have a normal sized pro model phone so you get the camera, battery, and screen of the high end without all that huge size.
If I could go back I'd either get the regular s22, skip the s22 lineup entirely or maybe try a regular sized iPhone 14 pro.
