Anyone have experience with this machine? Can't find many reviews online.

Purchased this because a friend recommended. He tells me is totally worth it at this price. He recommended to try Nespresso Capsules VertuoLine, Medium and Dark Roast Coffee, Variety Pack, and to wait until the coffee maker arrives because there is a $10 off coupon for it which makes it cheaper than buying off Amazon.

This Cuisinart machine uses Original Capsules, not the VertuoLine. On Amazon I see several reviews talking about how the milk frother stops working after some time. I think I will go with the Citiz & Milk model instead.

I managed to grab one of the EM-25 Cappuccino machines from Gilt for $60 several months ago, and I love it. Easy to use, easy to clean, and the right pods (Peet's, y'all) make great drinks. Nice little machine!

Is it better than Delonghi Lattissima series?

Keep in mind that they're lumping in several products into one single Amazon listing with different "Colors". Currently, there is only one review are only 13 reviews [amazon.com] (10 of which are verified purchases) for this EM-25 machine (Color: "Black Latte") from November 1, 2022.

You're likely reading Many of the top reviews seem to be for one of the "true" espresso machines (Color: "Stainless Steel" or "Stainless Steel, Manual"), which seem to have many problems out of the box but some people vouch for after DIY modifications. I didn't look too closely into those, but either way, those reviews and issues have nothing to do with this EM-25, which uses Nespresso Original Line capsules and may have issues of its own, but seems too new for any useful detailed reviews or reports to already be out:

3 negative reviews specifically mention milk frothing/steaming, while several others mention things like "defective"/"missing parts"/"doesn't work" without elaborating too much. A couple reviews did mention the espresso and milk not being hot enough, but that is actually quite a common complaint among "budget" espresso machines.

Why would anyone need a half gallon jug of unrefrigerated milk attached to the machine. A few ounces is surely enough for a cup or two.

I am a newbie for expresso machines. My husband wants to add a shot of expresso to his coffee and I occasionally drink the pistachio Starbuck's lattes that are seasonal. Would this machine make both of these?

Also does it only do Nespresso cartridges or can you grind your own expresso?

You can buy your own "reusable" pods on amazon and fill with anything you want.

useful for holiday season with a bunch of family imo but on a daily basis, yeah id probably opt to store it away and just mix in a little myself to avoid the clean up

I had bought this machine and had to return it. The brew was watery for my taste. Another problem is the milk frothing. With fully automatic, it is difficult to get the microfoam properly. Also, milk goes bad in warm weather, so it is necessary to remove milk jar and keep it refrigerated once you are done with the machine. Cleaning the milk jar is a pain, need a proper brush.

I am sticking with manual brewers from then on.

Yeah I filtered by the color listed in the description (I think "Black"). The comments were about the frother getting clogged.

Why do they call them Espresso, when it is a lower quality coffee with capsules? I see the convenience, but not the real thing.

Ah, my mistake. I just realized that you can filter by using the "All formats" drop-down, so thank you for that!

Upon looking further into it, the idea of having milk drawn up from a large tank through many tubes/nozzles is atrocious to me. I would not be surprised if milk is crusting up inside any channel possible, leading to those clogs mentioned.

This does not take those capsules, it takes the original.
