With the upgrade to Android 13, the OP9 pro is a great phone. I really like mine although a pixel 6 pro would be a good choice if it were the same price.

With every update, your oneplus, become oneminus. Slower and slower boot time, more bloatware in the background.
The updates have been hit and miss on my OP8. Android 12 was rough at first, but the recent Android 13 update has fixed a bunch of stuff like battery drain when using a work profile. Still getting used to the new "material design" look but I'm happier than I was last month.

My unlocked OP9p LE2125 got Android 13 about a week ago. In addition to the generally better experience, I now have 5G on AT&T. If you have the TMobile version, I think the updates take a little longer.

OP 9 Pro has been $400 on OnePlus website the entire month with the blackfriday coupon code.
I bought one then returned it immediately, software is buggy as hell, specs are amazing but the software just gave me a headache having to deal with constantly crashing apps. A broken pulldown menu, constant heating issues when it wasn't plugged in and just off.
