Home Depot has the same deal but was out of stock near me. Price matched at Lowes. Loved it so much that I went back later in the day to get another for my parents. FYI, it will void your warranty, but you can open it up and easy disable the speaker that beeps when you close the door.

What's the 3rd party work around to get it to work with a smart assistant
As of last year, it was this. I don't know the current situation. https://www.simplecommands.com/

Around the same price every Thanksgiving for the past 5 years through 2 different versions.

Surprisingly responsive on the notifications to my iPhone.
It still sucks I cannot use it with homekit or Siri.

Pro tip. Dont use a regular LED lightbulb for this (In your garage door). They make a lot of interference. I could never understand why when I used the garage door from the app the garage door would lose wifi connection for a while. It was directly a result of the LED Bulb. There is a 10 dollar LED bulb made to not cause interference. been working like a charm for about a year. No disconnects.

So whomever needs to hear this. Here you are.

The place I live at has a Ryobi garage door opener that is no longer supported due to the lawsuit. Its own app doesn't work for me to open, close, or use wirelessly. My guess is their servers are no longer operational. Does anyone have this that works with Ryobi? I would like Wifi capability.

It's not all LED bulbs, just some. Some will block the signal to open/close a garage door as well (for me, it was a Philips LED bulb). Mine's been working fine for years with Walmart Great Value LED bulbs.

Do I have the option to either control both doors simultaneously with one click or do I need to buy 2 sensors and run them independently?

Second this comment. This does not work well with mesh systems.
I did have that problem with the black unit, which is part of the reason why I replaced it with the white unit. I've had no problems with my mesh system since. Just a data point if your systems were the (older) black units.

I'm pretty sure you need two sensors (so it knows the position of each door). You only need one hub, however.

But the cheapest way to get 2 sensors may be to buy two whole kits (and you'll just have a spare hub). Last I looked the whole kit was $17, but the sensor itself was $40.

How is this compared to the Wyze Garage opener?
No difference, except this one might actually work better because Wyze has a very bad implementation of using QR to tell if the door is open or close. If you open close several times it gets confused or "forgets" the door open/close state.. I've been complaining to them, no response. Using QR to calibrate doesn't work, it just gets stuck most of the time too. It should just stop using QR and remember the button presses for open/close especially since it has requires camera , you can clearly tell if it's open, why do we need app to tell us the door status. Bad bad implementation.

No it works great and is fully functional. The subscription is only for using Alexa or Google assistant.
Ah, you have to pay for that? Get Meross instead, then. Free compatibility with smart home.
