One of my best purchases. Open your garage from anywhere with cell service and have peace of mind that you closed it.

Having had both, I would say this version is much easier to set up and seems to work more seamlessly with less hassles. I gave away my black one and replaced it with a white one because it's much more reliable with my opener. Fortunately, the black one works ok for the person I gave it to.

I would always choose the white one over the black one for a new purchase, but if you aren't having problems, it may not be worth replacing it either...

Around the same price every Thanksgiving for the past 5 years through 2 different versions.

Surprisingly responsive on the notifications to my iPhone.

Easily one of the best purchases I've ever made. Thing is super convenient in multiple ways. Yes, all it does is open/close a garage, but from anywhere at anytime along w/ notifications "opens" up a lot of possibilities, lol.

Will one unit MyQ work with 2012 Craftman Garage 2-door openers?

Sadly that's the only model and year that wont work with MyQ and this deal is no good for you.

Just kidding; I have a 2007 and it works just fine. Here is a compatibility link to try your combination: myQ Compatibility Tool | myQ [myq.com]

It's funny how they slowly just stopped mentioning it's compatibility with Google Home or Alexa, since it was hot garbage and they never bothered trying to fix it. I have mine still hooked just for Amazon deliveries, and even that is a hassle when a delivery driver can't figure out how to leave the damn package AWAY from the door sensors, and then I have to hurry home and close my garage because they just leave it open.

If your looking for compatibility with Google home, get an Aladdin Genie. You set it up and just works. No fidgeting around with MyQ's ridiculousness that can't even open the door when yon ask.

This thing is great. I have left my garage open a few winter nights before. I set this thing to close my garage door at 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, and midnight. If it's closed nothing happens. If it isn't closed, it'll close itself.

You should complain to Amazon about the door being left open. They're not supposed to leave until they verify the door closed

I have two garage doors and ordered two of these. I am thinking i have to configure one device for each garage door. Is my understanding correct? or can we open two garage doors with one device?

You can do that, or just use two sensors with one hub, but you need to have 2 sensors to distinguish each garage door.

1 Hub can control more than 1 Door Sensor and as noted its cheaper to buy the entire item 2 times as the Door Sensors they sell are never on Sale and are about $20-$40. You can keep the hub as a backup and simply use the sensor from the 2nd unit.

Google it. Read the reviews and watch Youtube comparison videos so you can know everything about the two and make informed decisions for yourself. Don't ask to be spoon-fed. It won't take long, trust me, and it's not a waste of your time.

There are many idiots who swear by lamespot (fakespot) that only gives a grade rating and literally nothing else. That is a perfect example of how someone becomes braindead.

Mine was delivered today. I ended up creating an acct on the website bc it wasn't working in the app. I then tried logging in on the app with my new credentials but can't seem to get in. Seems like something is definitely wrong on MyQ's end.

Or....it could be a problem with the app on your phone?

Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app, restarting your phone, etc? If there's a problem on MyQ's end, it's likely temporary. I've run into problems where their servers would be down, but it's not frequent and usually doesn't last long.

With a large service like this, you can almost guarantee that the problem is on your end unless you go to a site like downdetector and see that the whole service is down. Just a suggestion as a future troubleshooting tool.
