I would always choose the white one over the black one for a new purchase, but if you aren't having problems, it may not be worth replacing it either...
Surprisingly responsive on the notifications to my iPhone.

A bit more destructive than previous versions...

Finally opened and setup the MyQ. Good news is setting it up is straight forward. Bad news is I can't figure out how to physically disable the beeping.
I searched online and found:
https://www.reddit.com/r/homeauto...e_wa
https://www.garagejourn
And even a mention on amazon reviews about how to disable it.
It looks like this latest version, there's no piezo speaker! At least none that I can ID. Any of you hardware guys know which item is is on the board. i thought maybe perhaps it was on the back, but no dice there either.
That beeping is annoying AF! I don't think my neighbors care to know each time I'm closing my garage door!
Installed 2 sensors on 2 doors with 1 controller unit for our Wayne Dalton ProDrive doors. Haven't mounted the controller yet, but everything works like a charm. Every user having to create an account in their app is a PITA, though.
I had the black version set up and it worked flawlessly for many years. All of a sudden it started glitching and wouldn't connect. I tried everything, hard reset, starting from scratch, you name it.
Turns out the hub can get interfered with by certain LED bulbs. Turns out I put in these super bright LED work lamps in my garage and they would clear the codes from the unit. I reinstalled the base module underneath my dark work bench and haven't had any problems since.
