Black Friday items that are eligible for additional savings will display the promo code in small red print under the product name; for example, "Save even more w/ promo code ________, limited offer" or "+ $____ off w/ promo code ________, limited offer."

If you like getting viruses, then, by all means, go ahead and buy this horrible program. You would be much better off using Windows Defender than this POS program.

Every year I say I'm going to cancel and just go with the free options, but then a deal rolls around that's so cheap, it's not worth my time to set up 5 computers and rely on family not to do something stupid.

I got premium for $20 after coupon… seems worth it.

Does anyone remember if there's a catch to WHEN you apply the code, if you have time remaining on your previous subscription?

From what I recall, it overwrites your current sub, so basically you'd lose whatever days you have left.

Yeah, I vaguely recalled some issue. Thanks. I'll wait till it's about to expire.

As to the post above mine, I'll add that I've used Norton for over a decade (it used to be included with my Internet service) and never got a virus. So the protection seems pretty good to me…

No worries, I guess I should have been a little more clear, but basically what happens is it activates the new key right away, so your old key doesn't stop working, it just means you now have two active Norton subs. So ya, best to do it when your current sub is just about to expire.

You dont need to wait till your current subscription is close to expiring. Contact Norton Customer service by phone or chat and just tell them to apply the registration key code to your account and they will adjust your expiration date so it is cumulative to whatever time you have remaining on your current subscription. They will ask you to register the key code online but thats where they take over and adjust your expiration date internally.

From experience I wait until my current version expires before I activate.

In the exact same boat, deal is a little cheaper if you get it from Walmart. $25 - $10 cash rewards = $15 net

I have it installed on 9 computers or so, too much work to uninstall and reinstall. Norton marketing sales team are good lol

In my experience, these great amazing prices for Norton are 'intended' for new customers only. Their fine print in the Newegg ads even state this:

"For new Norton subscriptions only at an introductory price"

Is this NOT true? Just ignore the fine print and Norton support will help with current/new subscriptions?

Similar pricing via Amazon [amazon.com] and I believe you can use no rush to buy it too.
