Was thinking of buying Crucial MX500 1TB until I read about some of the issues it has. I know WD SN570 is DRAM-less but it has HMB which still helps but not as good. Here's the comment I pulled from Reddit:

I use both the Crucial MX500 and WD SN570. The SN570 is significantly better in my experience, as expected. I agree that DRAM doesn't make much of a difference for the average user, when dealing with a basic NVMe drive. Even though the SN570's write/transfer speeds do slow down once the cache is full, it was still faster than any of the brand name SATA SSDs with DRAM I've used. After the initial burst speed, I got around 700MB/s-1GB/s when it slowed down.

Maybe I am an old timer who has something to compare with but for my office, internet and slight gaming needs this speed is already super fast. I contemplated between this one, Samsung 980 and WD SN770 because of their way larger HMB / SLC but they would be a stretch for my needs.
