They ensure someone keeps giving them access to all their private data, which the user agreement when you set up the device guarantees. Your data is worth a small fortune. Google didn't become a goliath selling phones.

interesting the Pixel 6a is not on the trade-in list. Many of us have the Pixel 6a on the way from other trade in deals that made if nearly free in the past few days.

I dunno. When I saw it dropped to $499 I went and checked the trade in value and did the deal since it was $21 and I had a $27 Google credit.

It's a hair smaller which is nice as my 6 was just pushing comfort on size in hand.

Otherwise feels about the same.

it is not the same phone. different specs. they usually come out with the "a" version a year or so after the initial one comes out.
