interesting the Pixel 6a is not on the trade-in list. Many of us have the Pixel 6a on the way from other trade in deals that made if nearly free in the past few days.

seems code does not help since google automatically adds $100 off in the beginning itself

100 will be added as store credit for the Google store later. My wife ordered one yesterday and the credit has already posted.

and full tax seems to apply, so it is not $20 but final cost is $20 + 8% tax = $60 (in TX)

won't goto credit card, you get a code for the credit in your email they say.

You have to login to check out to use the code. Don't think anyone claim my code yet. Or at least no one claimed it yet

Factory reset is different from a carrier-locked phone. They specifically told me that it must be unlocked not just factory reset.
