They ensure someone keeps giving them access to all their private data, which the user agreement when you set up the device guarantees. Your data is worth a small fortune. Google didn't become a goliath selling phones.

interesting the Pixel 6a is not on the trade-in list. Many of us have the Pixel 6a on the way from other trade in deals that made if nearly free in the past few days.

I was able to successfully add it to my order and purchase but on the order details it is not listed, is this correct or do I need to cancel and order agaiN?

FWIW for any folks worrying about activating on VZ to replace a device on a payment plan with promo credits.....I did this today with VZW chat support. They said NOT to put the old SIM in the Pixel as that causes problems so instead they generated me an eSIM QR code (delivered via email) that I could then activate on the Pixel. I did tell them in advance that I wanted to make sure to keep paying off my phone and keep my monthly credits, and they said it was not a problem. Everything went well and I still see my device payment plan for the old phone on my account with new Pixel activated. Only tip I would offer is make sure you have turned on your Pixel and done most of your set-up / copy from old phone stuff in advance (I was rushing through that while they were generating my eSIM). Now to see if I have any trouble with the trade-in..........

So the device you traded in was locked to Verizon?

I had same result. Seems all replies so far are saying that the $100 code credit is given to your Google store account and you should receive it within a few days. You can use this $100 code credit for a future Google store purchase.

Most of the "superfan" codes being listed, are the codes that get you $100 credit for the Google store credit which anyone can do. The actual superfan codes give you $100 off your purchase, not store credit.

I don't think this is accurate. The superfan codes are for Google store credit, not money off of the phone.

This is the ultimate Parents' Christmas gift phone. I traded in their Pixel 6's and spent a total of $40 + tax to upgrade them to the 7 this year.

If they continue with this promo, I'll do this every year.

Best Buy has the Pixel 7 Pro discounted $250 down to $650. In addition, the trade in promotion to upgrade is $800 for my phone (Pixel 6). $800 in payment credits spread over 36 months. The promo os listed on the Best Buy page for this phone.

Is this deal actually going to pay me $150 to upgrade to newest 7 device, plus upgraded to the Pro model. Am I missing something?

Btw, this is the Verizon model.

I was thinking the same. When the Pixel 6 came out at $599, I planned to just start upgrading every year. (Sell old one for $350 on swappa) BUT, this deal....well this makes life easy.

I have been buying Pixel phones since the first....and Nexus before that. I think because of that Google invited me to be a "pixel superfan" which has given me a few cool perks. One of which is $100 credit for referring others to buy pixel phones.
