US Mobile gave me a TERRIBLE hassle when I tried to port my number out after a previous free trial. Their customer verification system needs more work. First I validated the email address on the account, but then was asked to still call in to speak to a service rep. The service rep had me sign in to the account and verify the remaining days and expiration date of my current trial, but then said it did not match what was showing on their system. I had a screenshot of the dash and they still could not accept that. So then I had to go back in the account and literally create 3 answers to 3 security questions while on the call, and then read off my answers to him. I'm pretty sure the rep could hear my frustration at this rigamrole when I gave him three identical and wholly irrelevant answers.

If you know you're going to just dispose of the number after the trial, then free 100 day trial is still a free 100 day trial. But just be aware of possible hassles if you need to port out at the end.

I've had US Mobile for a couple months. So far its great. I'm using the Verizon network / sim and 5G gets high priority. 4G does get deprioritized if busy. I swapped from Total by Verizon when I couldn't activate my Pixel 7. US Mobile activated with esim and card on my Pixel 7 and hotspot works fine. Highly recommend so far. Wish I had gotten in on this!

This may be a ticket out of T-Mobile and return after 90 days as a new customer to get their new customer deals.

Any reviews of US mobile? Looking to leave Red Pocket with 6 lines. Anyone know what the add on fees per month are for the basic unlimited family plan?
There are INDEED extra fees. $2 per line and some others. They are NOT transparent. However if you get on chat with a real person, they will tell you the exact amount.

About a month ago I had this chat for 4 lines total with 2 on basic (no hotspot) and 2 lines on premium....Here is the copied reply:

"Charge per line for basic: $23.31
Charge per line for premium: $34.36
if you have 2 basic and 2 premium"

They will also tell you the EXACT amount they will reimburse for any of the services you are eligible for (like Netflix or Hulu) if you have enough Premium lines. So be sure to ask if you are interested in that feature.

my friend, do u know how many days i HAVE TO activate it? like 60 days?
They have a good FAQ on the web site. https://www.usmobile.com/get-started

"Line transfers on eSIM must be initiated between 11/25/2022 at 12:01 AM EST to 12/02/2022 at 11:59 PM EST. Line transfers using a physical SIM must be initiated before 12/16/22 at 11:59 PM EST with SIMs from Starter Kits purchased between 11/25/22 at 12:01 AM EST and 12/2/22 at 11:59 PM EST on usmobile.com or the US Mobile iOS or Android apps."

BTW - Not all phones are compatible. I checked with the agent. Samsung A32 and Moto G stylus 2022 5G are not compatible. iPhone SE 2020 is compatible.
IMIE checker is here but didn't work for my IMIE - https://www.usmobile.com/networks

edit: added IMIE checker.

Does this work in Mexico?
I am traveling to Mexico for a week and red pocket doesn't work on Mexico.
Not sure, but look into Google Fi or Visible to use in Mexico

OKay, right now I am using free 3month Tmobile via esim. If you want to take advantage of this deal, how do I activate the USmobile esim on existing one occupied by Tmob Esim?

Depends on if you want to pay for it or not and if you have eSIM. USMobile gives a free international eSIM per month on their premium unlimited plans, which this is not. So no freebie. But you can buy an international eSIM [usmobile.com] for Mexico. I don't have US Mobile service, but I do have an account with them, so I looked up the pricing for Mexico eSIMs. It is horrid:

1GB: $16
3GB: $41
5GB: $58

Looks like the going rate for Mexico eSIMs is closer to $5/GB [esimdb.com] if you just need data.

Limit one per account, means you would have to activate lines on separate accounts and can't continue on the family plan afterwards.

Can't order. The "processing payment" button just spins and nothing happens. Tried Firefox and Edge.

edit: I had to do it on Firefox on my Android phone, that worked.
