Any reviews of US mobile? Looking to leave Red Pocket with 6 lines. Anyone know what the add on fees per month are for the basic unlimited family plan?

Switched to them about 4 months ago now from Google Fi, had fi for 2.5 years.

So far so good. I am in a very rural area where Verizon and US Cellular are king, however recently the tmobile signal has improved. My only regret is not having an eSim capable phone. We went to canada last month and didn't have any phone coverage or even data coverage as a result. I believe with an eSim we could have gotten data in Canada.

Please note that the 100 day trial is only valid on Warp 5G network aka Verizon. So it's a possibility that you may not get 100 days on T-Mobile or any other network that they use.

I have used US Mobile for about a year and it has been great. The app is modern and the customer support is phenomenal (They were on the line for hours with my old man and grandma who are smartphone illiterate). In the beginning, they were missing 5g, wifi calling, etc, but they have since covered these features. The family plan allows for unlimited data for $20-25 a month, which is amazing. Super LTE is like Verizon and the other one is GSMA iirc.

Someone mentioned data deprioritization, but that has since been fixed: https://bestmvno.com/us-mobile/us...-5g-plans/

Did the esim trial. Was getting 0.5 mbps up/down. Customer service couldn't help. Everyone seems to have a positive experience but I couldn't get it to work.

I'd be all over this only if US mobile had international calling to India
Most people just use Whatsapp to call internationally.

They do not support Apple Watch cellular yet. That's holding me back from signing up. May have to go the Visible or Total route for now.

You will be enrolled into unlimited basic plan.
I just chatted with an agent and he said this:

You will be enrolled on the same 15GB bundle plan, but if you want to change it you can also do it.

It would be $25.31 including taxes and fees.

I also asked about hotspot and he said:

Yes, but it would cost $2 extra for hotspot and you can use all the data in your plan for hotspot.

I used US Mobile during the pandemic since I wasn't out and about too often and it was sufficient for phone calls and texts while on WiFi. Once things lifted and I started to commute again I realized the Data deprioritization is real and almost makes this unusable, you get what you pay for. If you're usually on WiFi and not Data this will be a great cost savings over the big named carriers. If you aren't and need good consistent data connection and speeds look elsewhere.
This just isn't true any more if you have a 5g phone.

That's incorrect in my experience, I was using the S22U Ultra at the time.

do you need to transfer your number, or can you pick a new number and forfeit just the 10 day part?
