US Mobile gave me a TERRIBLE hassle when I tried to port my number out after a previous free trial. Their customer verification system needs more work. First I validated the email address on the account, but then was asked to still call in to speak to a service rep. The service rep had me sign in to the account and verify the remaining days and expiration date of my current trial, but then said it did not match what was showing on their system. I had a screenshot of the dash and they still could not accept that. So then I had to go back in the account and literally create 3 answers to 3 security questions while on the call, and then read off my answers to him. I'm pretty sure the rep could hear my frustration at this rigamrole when I gave him three identical and wholly irrelevant answers.

If you know you're going to just dispose of the number after the trial, then free 100 day trial is still a free 100 day trial. But just be aware of possible hassles if you need to port out at the end.

I've had US Mobile for a couple months. So far its great. I'm using the Verizon network / sim and 5G gets high priority. 4G does get deprioritized if busy. I swapped from Total by Verizon when I couldn't activate my Pixel 7. US Mobile activated with esim and card on my Pixel 7 and hotspot works fine. Highly recommend so far. Wish I had gotten in on this!

This may be a ticket out of T-Mobile and return after 90 days as a new customer to get their new customer deals.

Seems like the deal is dead. Any way to still get 100 day free trial? I talked to customer service and they said they can't offer that now.

Any chance it will come back for christmas or new year?

PSA: These crooks just charged me $10 on auto pay after EXPLICITLY telling me not to touch auto pay on their live chat and promising everything was in order. Lo and behold... sure enough, I was charged promptly from that auto pay I was told not to touch. They did fix the problem after I got wild on a chat with them, but I'm sure their strategy is to collect off the people that aren't paying attention.

I got a 'charge failure' email due to my card daily spending limit lower than what they wanted to charge $25.xx I believe (they put my plan as 15GB $20, plus tax, total $25.xx). Through Online chat, rep fixed my service plan back to $10 with CYBER PROMO, so free now.

Same thing as others reported, got charged $19.91 after 10 days. Chatted with customer service, charges to be reversed and next 90 days should be free remainder of 100 days trial. We will see.
Seems kind of shady to me.

Very shady! Got charged $10 after rep told me the 10 days trial would roll over to 90 days free with no charges as long as I keep everything set up for auto pay. Crooks... At least the 5G and 4G speeds have been excellent!

My card declined their autopsy charge even though I'm on 10 day free trial. Now the autopsy is off and says my trial ending in 1 day...

Last day for CYBER PROMO 100 days free was 12/16/2022. Seems like you signed up or activated after that date.

Seems like the system is set to charge your card. Support got it removed and now I'm back on the 100 day plan.

So, which company? USM or Red Pocket?

I ported a number from Tracfone. The port-in was almost immediate and the coverage in my local area seems good. Issues I have with this service provider:
1. There's a hefty tax on top of the listed rate (almost $4 +) which makes what seems like a great deal, really a meh deal. A 2GB plan costs $12 before tax but $16 and change, after.
2. The service DOES NOT work in Puerto Rico. Not sure where else it doesn't work. Not a big deal but I'd have thought they would have some sort of coverage (even at a scaled down level). It was zero.

Same here. Port from Total wireless was pretty quick.

The couple of issues I have is that RCS no longer works for Samsung message app ("Chat settings" no longer show up in my text message settings), and voicemail app crashes on my Samsung S20+ phone along with no voicemail notifications.Frown Will wait to see if the expected-soon Android 13 update fixes this before involving US Mobile support again.
