I've bought 2 tv's from Secondipity in the past. 1 worked out great. The other had to be returned. Today's 20% off deals are not bad but not quite compelling enough for me to pull the trigger. I think they raised their prices 10% compared to last week so this is really more like 10% off.

Was waiting for this deal for the 85 x91j, but they inflated their prices yesterday.

FYI, the 77" has been as low as $1260, so this isn't that great.

They raised their prices in recent days. Also, if you look at the thread similar to this one from last year, some of prices are higher now than they were then on the same (now old) things. Seems stupid to price inventory so that it sits for over a year letting inflation work against you. Given what the B and C oleds are going for new these days there isn't much reason to even consider Secondipity.

What can I expect ordering a tv from this company? I can deal with scratches on the housing but damage or scratches to the screen itself would be a deal breaker.

within 30 days period (from the date they ship) it's very easy! just call them and they will issue a ticket. after 30 days you can only do exchange.
i bought the 77 Oled when this was $1400 out the door and had to return the first one. they both were ok, works great, but there was screen banding on the first one so i tried my luck on the second. it been working for 4 months now. you can do a search on previous deal to read morePeace

The Sony TV I bought from them last year was a great deal, and looked brand new. That was a good experience. However, others have had bad luck. It's definitely a roll of the dice with that company.
