Consensus for older models is that V10 > V8 > V11ā€¦13 > V7 (paraphrasing older posts on the dyson vacuums from slick deals). This ranking is based on pure value. Newer models have some fancy features but have significant costs.

V10 and V8 are comparable. V10 has a great design and sucks hard. V8 is the easiest to open and empty and balances battery life and power.

Everyone here agrees the fluffy head is a game changer. I love it.

Just got this over all the other Dyson vacuum deals(older and newer) the past few days. Did too many hours of research to finally decide on this. If you're in the market just buy this because I did all of the research for you.

I have a rabbit. Will vacuuming hay off the floor damage this vacuum in any way? Is it easy to unclog this vacuum if stuff gets clogged up in the hose?

Did you compare this against or consider the Shark Stratos?

One single head for hard and soft floors seems to be nice, and it won Vacuum Wars best of 2022.

It's also just $337 + $100 future-use credit at BB&B today compared to $400 for the V10. I was looking to replace my V8 with the Shark or this V10, so am curious what had you decide on this one.

I want extra stuff and dock, but can't justify the $100+ extra over the V10 Animal I got at BBY for $300. Must resist.

If you have mainly hardwood floors, the soft roller that comes with the absolute version is very nice.

I have 2 dyson V8 absolutes, one for each floor. I can't screw them into the wall as it's old plaster. I love that they have docks now. In for 1. Thanks!

God yes, even the V8 is a huge upgrade. Emptying the V7 is terrible, on the V8 the motor assembly slides up when you empty the bin so you don't have to try and pry out the hair stuck between the bin and motor. Motor is locked in place on the V7.

Ok, they have V12 on sale as well.. any recommendations between v11, v11 and v12 ? Freakin torn between the 3 and needs one around the living for minor tile floor and area carpet. Weekly car cleaning

This v10 deal has the most value imo. You get the fluffy head and the dok. The dok alone being $150 with the included attachments.
