Consensus for older models is that V10 > V8 > V11…13 > V7 (paraphrasing older posts on the dyson vacuums from slick deals). This ranking is based on pure value. Newer models have some fancy features but have significant costs.

V10 and V8 are comparable. V10 has a great design and sucks hard. V8 is the easiest to open and empty and balances battery life and power.

Everyone here agrees the fluffy head is a game changer. I love it.

Just got this over all the other Dyson vacuum deals(older and newer) the past few days. Did too many hours of research to finally decide on this. If you're in the market just buy this because I did all of the research for you.

Spoke with chat, I was offered to choose either the free tool kit or the Dok, not both. They said this was a "chat only" offer. Little disappointed I didn't place the order earlier this week.

Customer Service chat wouldn't even give me an option. They just told me tough luck, I missed out. Which fine, but IMO the vacuum deal is less or no longer available. Deal is partially dead IMO.

This is a bit confusing. The "free" tool kit that comes with the docking station mainly consists of tools that are redundant to what is given with the $399 V10 absolute deal on their website There is a small case that contains these which slots into the docking station. It seems that it is integral to the docking station as the case seems made for them. You can see this on some of the unboxing videos on youtube.

Just came upon this deal now. When I click through it just has the vacuum with 3 tools.....were you able to get the dok and tools (were the tools different from the 3 that are listed now -

I tried via chat and Twitter DM and both would not add the dock. Feel this Slickdeal should be modified to exclude the dock at this point. The sale price and additional tools are still available. Kick myself for waiting one more day to see if Rak cashback would change. I did get that additional cash but lost out on the dock by doing that. Sigh…🤦🏻 ♂️

They did not include the docking station in the shipment.
