I dont know why people buy these overpriced scam knives. It's a knife, it cuts things. A $5 knife will literally do the same thing lol. It's so silly
It's like that with any technology enthusiast and the build of a knife is no different. Like with computers, a lot of people don't need a computer that fast, heck many probably don't even need new stuff but there's always the pursuit of better, some people like to pursue some subsection of things more than others. If there's a scam it's just kind of consumerism in general, though it's up to oneself to keep things in check and this forum is a good resource for product knowledge if I do need to know some specs to make an informed decision. It is possible to draw on the knowledge without getting caught up in the enthusiasm and stick with the chosen budget for any given purchase. I won't lie though I get caught up in the enthusiasm and it's not easy to keep it to the goal in mind with a get in and get out mindset especially online, much easier for me to do that in a B&M store.. Is there a Smeagol emoji?

bad dealer. I won't buy from SMKW. They cancel orders however they like. And don't let you cancel order even if notified immediately. They have been canceling orders for few months because they have poor inventory system.

The camo print is a good way to lose your knife in the woods.

Theyre a great dealer to me, bought 2 mini griptillian and a regular griptillian, and they sent me a duplicate order for free Smilie. Then never replied to my email about sending me a box to ship them back... 😂

Para 3 lightweight at $84 seems to be a good deal as well.

Sounds like we have similar taste. I just got the Para 3 in Maxamet and the Deka in Magnacut. Added some Original GOAT after market scales for the Deka since the FRN is flimsy and slippery. Enjoy your purchases!
Did you get the Warncliffe blade on the Deka? Just wondering if there are 2 flat edges to the blade, or 1 continuous edge that is thicker in one section

I am clueless here, would this be a good gift for an active duty marine?

Benchmade or Spyderco? 🧐
Zero Toletance knives is my preference. Made in USA like the ones you mentioned. Start with a model 0350 or 0562cf. Might pay a little bit more even with sales, but it's worth it.

The Para 3 is similar to a Paramilitary 2. The biggest difference is the Para 3 has a 3inch blade (Some states require blades to be 3inches or shorter). I believe the Paramilitary 2 has a 3.5 inch blade. As for S45vn vs s90v, from what I've heard, they are similar steels. S90v has better edge retention, but is prone to chipping.

SMKW also has a Paramilitary 2 with teal scales in s90v for $137.50

Best review of Spyderco metals comes from this guy
CPM S45VN - Spyderco PM2

This is very informative as well

I lost a new PM3 for months but found it the other day.
I realized I can flick it open and closed with one hand and that would probably be trouble in some states

Got one of these a while back for around this price. It's my daily carry for work. Thought I lost it a few times but always shows back up. Would buy again

Chinese knives suck and so do those that buy them
I have some nice Maxaces, We Knives, Civivis, QSPs, Ferrum Forges, etc. Also own American made ones. But some that say Made in USA may be just assembled here from Chinese parts.

Hard to get away from buying stuff from China.
