Yes, the 55 was a barn burner from less than a week ago. But that doesn't keep this 65 from being a good deal. It does compare well with the Vizio M7 QLED which Sam's Club is clearing out at $50 less. Both have a mixed usage score of 7.7 on rtings.com. The Vizio already shows as sold out at most Sam's, including a local one, although there was a NIB unit on the floor when we picked ours up yesterday. The TCL also shows as unavailable for most of Flori-duh already.

10" for $300 more? I don't think so.

Doesn't it make more sense to spend the $100 more and get the 6 series?...if still available in your area
Totally depends. Not everyone will find value in spending an extra 20%. What makes "more sense" is realizing that everyone is different. Content, viewing environment, budget, need I go on?
Huge win. One of the best deals this black Friday. There weren't that many good deals but that ranks at the top.
Yeah, that 55 inch was probably second best to the $599 series 6 deal from Best Buy earlier this week - think that was the best Black Friday deal on TVs.
It didn't last minutes. It was available most of the day. I'd wait for a better deal on a 65.
What is your point? How is the fact that it was available for more than 5 minutes relevant? Using $200 as some type of benchmark for a mid-brand 55 QLED is completely unrealistic.
If you want a better deal the Vizio 65" QLED M7 at Sam's is only $450. Bought this Thursday online and got 4500 AA miles to boot. That's like another $100 in my pocket.

Yes I guess you do
I understand a budget...and frankly if $100 is a budget breaker for an item you will probably use for a few years...then I question if it makes sense to even spend the money for the cheaper television at all
In regard to performance..it seems that for $100 more you get a television that is better in every way in any viewing environment that they both would be placed in

Can someone please help me with Budget 65" tv for bedroom. I got yesterday's sharp tv for $299 from bestbuy. Is it worth that price? There were not many comments in that thread.
