Remember a year and some change ago these were $8
nod I've been told by a very reliable inside source that in their field manufacturers are factoring in a percentage of price increase to the wholesale chain, and same with retailers to the end user to try to recoup some of their losses from the covid restrictions and minimum wage increases, and they use the excuse of "supply chain issues" and "inflation"..... Those reasons of the "excuses" are probably a definite contributor to inflation...

Office Depot sells the Costco ones too, for a more money, but they do have free delivery.

i dont remember those prices around black Friday. I do remember all the
Christmas/holiday totes going under $5 when they clearance them out after the holidays. Maybe thats what you are thinking of?
