That's why OP mentioned doing it at the store since they can process the trade in and give the left over as GC.

Straight talk is a verizon prepaid and the phones are the Verizon model. I used that without issue.

I can't believe how smoothly this deal went. I drove 18 minutes to a Walmart in my city, bought the straight talk iphone 11 for $220 post-tax, drove another 10 mins to best buy, and they handed me a pixel 7 and a gift card.

I would recommend avoiding the 7 and 7 Pro if your only plan is to flip them for profit. I did a bunch of XR's for 7's and they are difficult to resell, I'm stuck with a bunch of them. I'm getting offers of 250-300.

Activation means attaching it to plan/line not while it's being checked out from the store.

I guess I'm just concerned because someone said the Walmart register shows "activated" just by purchasing it, if they do it correctly. And I couldn't see if that occurred because I had it delivered. And now the imei checker is comes up as Not Activated (and no purchase date either). So I'm just concerned they didn't scan correctly before delivering, and if that occurred maybe it appears like it's a stolen phone or something when trading it in. This is a really nice phone actually. And this coming from an iPhone user. I was pleasantly surprised by the features on this phone. I recently had to upgrade my iPhone and lost tons of valuable pictures because apple makes it incredibly hard to transfer pictures unless you do it during the initial set up process or unless you do it via iCloud. So done with Apples BS extortion tactics

The iPhone 11 purchased at Walmart should activate it at the Walmart cell counter And take it to BB to trade in ? Or I could take it to BB without activating ? Through some light , never did this before.

If i buy st for 199, how do i know if register do it correctly. I am not familiar with prepaid. Do i have to select a plan, activated, or pay anything beside the phone cost 199.
