Activation means attaching it to plan/line not while it's being checked out from the store.
I guess I'm just concerned because someone said the Walmart register shows "activated" just by purchasing it, if they do it correctly. And I couldn't see if that occurred because I had it delivered. And now the imei checker is comes up as Not Activated (and no purchase date either). So I'm just concerned they didn't scan correctly before delivering, and if that occurred maybe it appears like it's a stolen phone or something when trading it in. But you think mine is ok to trade in, even with the imei checker details I posted above?
I tried to do an online pickup for the iPhone and the first store ran out before they pulled it. Also make sure Best Buy has the phone in stock. These deals have been popular and the stock level at my local stores have dwindled a bit.

No one is below $400 yet, sealed and new anyway.
During the lull in which trade-ins at BB stopped, I was getting more interest at $425, I expect the $425-450 range locally will keep interest once BF is over if the price doesn't stick to $499...but I think it might.
Resale on a Pixel 7 is only $375 at the moment, and only going down.
