That's why OP mentioned doing it at the store since they can process the trade in and give the left over as GC.

Straight talk is a verizon prepaid and the phones are the Verizon model. I used that without issue.

I can't believe how smoothly this deal went. I drove 18 minutes to a Walmart in my city, bought the straight talk iphone 11 for $220 post-tax, drove another 10 mins to best buy, and they handed me a pixel 7 and a gift card.

I've owned a pixel 3a after coming from exclusively using Samsung Galaxy -- my dad has a Galaxy 21 (I'm his tech guy, he's 70, and I gotta set things up for him, update things yadda, yadda...) and having to be tied into the galaxy OS -- which is tacked onto the Android OS-- I gotta tell you the Pixel interface is like a less crowded Galaxy phone because it's JUST the Android version your note 20 is already using without the OS cluttered and you also get updates first.
So, trade in your old phone, make the jump and trust me, you'll be pleased

Ok thank you, I will pick up at Walmart then remove the phone from the box and trade it in at Best buy.

Many comments but I can tell you the pixel 7 is actually a good phone especially for the price. Yes slippery but who doesn't put a case on their phone? I had the pixel 5a, 6a and now 7. No complaints so far. Well worth trading in a cheaper phone. Google is giving high values on older pixels like 4a and 5a if you have one and want to upgrade to a pixel 7.

People shit talking about how these are shit and not worth much? Well duh. The ability to do such a trade-in is popular knowledge now, why'd someone pay $375 when they can get it for $225/$250?

I'm sure the phone is great, but that's if you need a new phone/upgrade. If you're already using premium device like S22 or iPhone 13? Obviously the difference is going to be negligible, if not direct downgrade. Now if you're using a Moto G Power? I'm sure this is an enormous upgrade, well worth the purchase at under $250.

Any issues while in store? When I went with the iPhone XR I was told that this was an online promotion and they couldn't do it in person. The X-ray online trade in value is 460.
