That's why OP mentioned doing it at the store since they can process the trade in and give the left over as GC.

Straight talk is a verizon prepaid and the phones are the Verizon model. I used that without issue.

I can't believe how smoothly this deal went. I drove 18 minutes to a Walmart in my city, bought the straight talk iphone 11 for $220 post-tax, drove another 10 mins to best buy, and they handed me a pixel 7 and a gift card.

I want considering to trade-in my Samsung Note 20 for pixel from other deal, do you think its a upgrade going to pixel 7 or I should keep my note 20 for next year deals, TIA
I've owned a pixel 3a after coming from exclusively using Samsung Galaxy -- my dad has a Galaxy 21 (I'm his tech guy, he's 70, and I gotta set things up for him, update things yadda, yadda...) and having to be tied into the galaxy OS -- which is tacked onto the Android OS-- I gotta tell you the Pixel interface is like a less crowded Galaxy phone because it's JUST the Android version your note 20 is already using without the OS cluttered and you also get updates first.
So, trade in your old phone, make the jump and trust me, you'll be pleased

Any issues trading in a prepaid plan iPhone 11 from Straight Talk ? I have ordered one at Walmart waiting for pickup then planning to walk-in bestbuy store.
No They dont care about lock status or any carrier, they add serial/IMEI I guess to confirm the model and then proceed to trade in.

Ok thank you, I will pick up at Walmart then remove the phone from the box and trade it in at Best buy.

I heard the same about the Pixel 6 line which is known to have issues. This cant be worse.
Traded in my terrible Pixel 6 for the Pixel 7 at BBy in a previous deal. The Pixel 7 is much better but I still consider it a mediocre phone.

Many comments but I can tell you the pixel 7 is actually a good phone especially for the price. Yes slippery but who doesn't put a case on their phone? I had the pixel 5a, 6a and now 7. No complaints so far. Well worth trading in a cheaper phone. Google is giving high values on older pixels like 4a and 5a if you have one and want to upgrade to a pixel 7.

So we really don't need to activate the prepaid iPhones from Walmart or buy any first month plan? It's that straight?

Sorry I haven't read the thread yet.

List is longer at Google Store. Does anyone give good values for cracked screens?

People shit talking about how these are shit and not worth much? Well duh. The ability to do such a trade-in is popular knowledge now, why'd someone pay $375 when they can get it for $225/$250?

I'm sure the phone is great, but that's if you need a new phone/upgrade. If you're already using premium device like S22 or iPhone 13? Obviously the difference is going to be negligible, if not direct downgrade. Now if you're using a Moto G Power? I'm sure this is an enormous upgrade, well worth the purchase at under $250.

Any issues while in store? When I went with the iPhone XR I was told that this was an online promotion and they couldn't do it in person. The X-ray online trade in value is 460.

Best Buy has these Google Pixel 7 phones open box starting at $398, that's how bad these new Pixels are.

Resale on a Pixel 7 is only $375 at the moment, and only going down.
I've been a pixel fanboy for a while. Didn't get the 7 as it didn't seem worth it over my current pixel 6 pro. What's so bad about them? I've not followed any info put out on the 7

I trade my mini 12 on release day. I wouldn't recommend. I loved my pixel 3 when I was using went to apple and now back. The 7 has many bugs (my camera besides being slow has black lines that slows the shooting experience even more, the apps that I need are worst here and clunky). The 7 weight feels very unbalanced and uncomfortable. Super slippery. I could go on but the pixel 7 doesn't feel great as the pixel 3 felt at time and I would say the initial price was insane for what you get.
How has the much larger size of the phone been after moving from mini 12? I went from iPhone XR to mini 12, and have loved the mini 12 for its smaller size, but I am tempted as I can trade the mini in for for basically what I paid for the mini 1.5 years ago and get the Pixel 7. Not a huge fan of larger phones though. FWIW my main tablet is a Samsung tab s7—like both android and iOS equally.
