Straight talk is a verizon prepaid and the phones are the Verizon model. I used that without issue.

I can't believe how smoothly this deal went. I drove 18 minutes to a Walmart in my city, bought the straight talk iphone 11 for $220 post-tax, drove another 10 mins to best buy, and they handed me a pixel 7 and a gift card.

Yes, as long as you place an online order, you're fine. I got my preorder device early November, which was well after the preorder deals ended. Once you place the order, it locks the price.


It does say the value is only valid for 15 days, I'm not sure if that's true as I got my device on the 22nd day after ordering

I can't believe how smoothly this deal went. I drove 18 minutes to a Walmart in my city, bought the straight talk iphone 11 for $220 post-tax, drove another 10 mins to best buy, and they handed me a pixel 7 and a gift card.

You just picked up the Iphone 11 and that's it? Did you have to take the phone out of the box or activate it? I'm just picturing best buy guys looking at me like why do you have 2 phones new on me

Yes , if you order online. If you do in store you have to trade in the device at pickup.

I did take it out of the box before I got in the store, and I turned it on as I was walking into Best-Buy. No activation, or anything else. I just handed them a brand new phone that I removed from the box 1 minute and 43 seconds prior.

I also had no issues with trading in the Walmart iPhone 11. Went on Walmart.com to see what stores had same day pickup available on the straight talk iPhone 11, then drove to the store and bought it in person. It did say "activated" on the register checking out but they don't have any of my info and there is no sim card in the phone. Took the phone out of the box, took off the plastic and went to best buy and told them it was on Verizon. No issues with trade in and also got a $26 gift card since there is no sales tax (DE). Overall an easy experience.
