Best Buy's specifications appear to be wrong regarding both screen size and resolution (they conflict with the product description and reviews, which appear to be correct).

The ROG Zephyrus M16 (2022) GU603ZM-M16.I73060 [asus.com] has a 16-inch FHD+ 16:10 (1920 x 1200, WUXGA).

No they are NOT wrong about the resolution . it is in fact 2560x1600 BUT you have to go into the Nvidia drivers and set it as a custom setting. I finally figured that out after calling Asus tech support and being told that Windows 11 was forcing the laptop to dumb it down to a 1920x1200 resolution and there was nothing you can do about it except complaint to MS. I guess Asus lists it as a lower rez because MS won't license them Win 11 unless Asus lists the lower rez. But Yes BB just wrong about the screen size. It is barely 16" - more like 15.9 " .

Huh... I've never seen a laptop ship with the screen set to something other than the native resolution (include the current version of the Asus G14, which was set to 2560x1600 out of the box from Best Buy). Not saying you're wrong, but what you're describing is surprising.

Anyway, either Best Buy is wrong in the features section of the M16 product page:
Quote from Best Buy product page :
16" FHD display with 165Hz refresh rate
The 165Hz ultra bright 500 nits display features a 16:10 1920x1200 resolution that gives you more space for toolbars and tabs. Don't worry about ghosting with the 3ms response time.
Or Best Buy is wrong in the specifications section of the M16 product page:
Quote from Best Buy product page :
Screen Resolution
2560 x 1600
For reference, a few questions from purchasers on the Best Buy page about this (and answers confirming it's 1920x1200):
Quote from Best Buy answers section :
Q: I can't seem to find anywhere on asus website GU603ZM with a 1900 x 1200 display, but instead 2560 x 1600? Is this a custom built for BB?
Asked 8 months ago by S.
A: Answer yes this is 1920 x 1200.
Quote from Best Buy answers section :
Q: Hi what's the correct specs of the screen on this one? Is it a 2560 x 1600 or a 1920 x 1080 display?
Asked 2 weeks ago by Saboor.
A: This model is 1920x1200 and is incorrectly listed as 2560x1600 which I verified with Best Buy.
Quote from Best Buy answers section :
Q: Why is the screen resolution not being corrected on the Best Buy site and in stores? After buying this laptop, I discovered that the screen resolution is actually 1920x1200 and not the listed 2560x1600 which is listed on the website and the in-store tags
Asked 2 weeks ago by SGR.
A: We will contact the appropriate department in order to make the necessary correction regarding the display resolution. Thank you.
Of note is that last answer was provided by ASUS, and their website [asus.com] lists this model as 1920x1200.

There are a lot of indications that that the screen is 1920x1200. How certain are you that this specific version of the M16 is 2560x1600?

I am absolutely 100% positively certain beyond any possible doubt because I own this exact model of this laptop and I ignored everything Asus told me and simply went into the Nvidia drivers and selected custom settings and set the display to 2560 x 1600 and that is what the display now shows in Win11 (and the difference is easily noticed by the naked eye) . Another way you can probably produce this result is to hook this laptop to an external monitor that has a resolution equal to or greater than 2560x1600 . In my experience this will activate that option in Win 11 for this display but I have not done that for this laptop because there is no reason to do so. Hopefully you can see the screenshot from my M16 that I have attached. Look at the resolution shown in display settings--it is indeed 2560x1600!

I need to add 2 important points (1) it just occurred to me that I have this set on "turbo" in Asus Armor Crate program- that is the setting those idiots used to replace the MUX switch— so I have totally bypassed the crummy integrated Intel graphics and that may be why this works and why it may not work if you are in battery saving mode and are relying on the integrated graphics; and (2j after I updated the Nvidia drivers it defaulted to the 1900x1200 res —so every time you update the Nvidia drivers you need to use the customize feature again to put the screen back to 2560x1600.

what you are doing is called downsampling. It works but you must have the MUX mode set to Ultimate in Armoury crate. you still only have a 1920x1200 screen no way around that. but by having your text size back to 150% you're worse than where you started at 1920x1200. it can also only run at 60hz not 165hz native like 1920x1200

I tried that and actually with Turbo/Ultimate mode turned on in Armoury I can create a custom resolution in the driver settings and it runs at 165hz. The moment you changed the setting back to performance or silent mode, the resolution returned to 1920x1200.
